D-Track Training
Our Directors track training is designed for dental professionals with some clinical experience is required. Our first in its class sessions are comprised of a 1.5 day training with our expert trainers. We prepare our Directors to confidently execute and implement in various capacities mentioned below.

Promote oral health through educating and empowering older people to take an active role in their oral care to prevent oral problems.

Work in LTCF as the primary oral health advocate for residents ensuring that an OCS is an integral part of routine care and ensures DOC training becomes a part of the on-boarding processes for new hires.

Address residents’ oral concerns during the screening process evaluate each resident’s oral health status upon admission, assess the need for dental treatment, provide dental referrals, and devise and monitor an oral health care plan.

Supervise OHI Card Program trained professionals on a state level or corporation, compile resident and facility data, identify changes to be made, access the 7 components of the program by communicating with home office.

Attend mandatory meetings in-person/zoom call.

Graduates:

Are certified to conduct business as a Director of the OHI Card Program independently or corporately.

Can participate in community events to administer OCS, give OHI Cards and give proper referrals to patrons.

Have full access to all program forms and components.

Are trained to be able to perform OCS in various capacities and give OHI Cards.

Are trained to market to dental learning institutions to partner with the OHI Card Program and supervise rotations through a partnered facility.

*Successful completion of the Program gives you a 3-year certification. Re-certification is easy, just review the given study guide, answer a few questions, and download your updated certificate.
